Introduction

The T-Systems’ Connect is a tailor-made plug-and-play, easy to use browser-based service offering for connection to the Catena-X ecosystem. This solution is certified by International Data Space Association (IDSA) and is GAIA-X framework compliant. In addition to the standard certifications, Connect Basic is an officially Catena-X certified solution to ensure complete security and compliance of standards set by Catena-X. This is the basic package designed for participation and data provisioning in the Catena-X Data Ecosystem. It enables the use of applications and the role as a data provider with data sovereignty protection in Catena-X. To simplify operations and maintenance such as, software updates, the solution is available as a managed service in the cloud, and thus works without the need for software download or local installation. The plug and play based, easy to use, web-based user interface (UI) in multiple languages and allow the connection to Catena-X within minutes and customers can immediately start sharing data within the ecosystem. The Connect Basic package is built on industry leading Eclipse Dataspace Components (EDC) and is maintained and operated by the leaders in dataspace technology: Deutsche Telekom AG and T-Systems International GmbH.
